Parksen combats worldwide traffic congestion and pollution through a Green, Smart and Connected City Platform, which utilizes the IOTA and Ethereum blockchain, smart contracts, IoT devices and a real-time parking app.

What is Parksen and what is it for?
Parksen is an easily adaptable Green, Smart and Connected City Platform that has a public API and runs entirely on the Parksen Parking Cloud.

Using the Ethereum Blockchain, we offer a variety of solutions and smart contracts that will benefit a wide spectrum of stakeholders within urban metropolises and smaller cities, while helping us create a smarter and greener world.

How is Parksen going to make us all smarter?
We have used the Ethereum blockchain and our API to create an open and universal ledger that records and maps data in urban areas. This data allows us improve the flow of traffic and decrease congestion levels and toxic carbon monoxide pollution, but it also shows which while old equipment and technology can use an upgrade and it helps integrate Smart Parking solutions through IoT (Internet of Things) devices and Green Field appliances.

The possibilities don’t end just there. Our public API enables developers to create new appliances or functionalities to already existing ones, so they can contribute and make the most amazing creations that city councils, corporate institutions and individuals can then use to make their cities smarter, greener and more connected.

Why an ICO?
We will be able to raise funds for the future development of our Green, Smart and Connected City Platform by ways of an ICO (or Initial Coin Offering). The ICO allows anyone to invest in our company by purchasing the PARQ tokens. We are going to offer Utility tokens which can be used within our Parksen Parking application and the accompanying dashboards.

Additionally, we will reserve a large amount of the funds for cities that wish to test our platform and upgrade their outdated systems to a smarter, more innovative and greener alternative, but do not possess the means to do so on their own.  Greener cities should not only be an option for the very rich among us.
